DIAMOND DRILL RIG
This moveable diamond drill rig with enclosure and frame would have been located on a cut iine near present-day Thompson during the area’s early exploration days. Crews—often consisting of local Cree hirees—would labouriously hand-clear the bush in preparation for the INCO geological crews and the diamond drillers who were contracted by the company. (H. S.
