See animals native to the area, a boreal forest diorama, First Nation and fur trade artifacts (including an authentic caribou hide tipi), fossils and mining artifacts at our Manitoba Star Attraction museum consisting of two log structures and an open-air blacksmith shop, Insitutional Archives and visitor information booth.
In 1990, Heritage North Museum was incorporated. Our mission is to promote and preserve the heritage and history relating to Thompson and area. We launched a Geocache site in June 2007. It has attracted visitors and hits from all over the world.
